Print Screen Deluxe is a powerful screen-capture program that grabs text, images and videos from your screen. This program lets you capture sequences from games, DirectX presentations, CAD programs and more. It has a fully customizable user interface that allows to rearrange menus and toolbars any way, assign any keyboard shortcuts, create toolbars and more options.
If you try to print a Web page, you will most likely end up with missing images or scrambled fonts, and text that runs off the paper; but Print Screen Deluxe with its variety of screen-capture tools, can capture the wanted areas nicely with the touch of a button. Then, access digital-editing tools to manipulate a capture any way you like. Customize images, edit text, and send captures via e-mail. Or save your image to a PDF file.
You can capture a clipboard text to a .TXT file instead of an image file which allows you to edit the text. Additionally Auto Scroll allows to capture the an entire web page or other document when much of it is not visible.
Add comments to the screen captures, excellent for creating tutorials, and more. Notate the images with arrows, text and yellow highlights and more.

What more would I like to see PSD do? (Note that I haven't upgraded from version 6 yet.) When a web page disappears below the active screen I wish PSD could capture the whole page; but I don't know of any print screen utility that can do that. I wish the tray button could access more settings. I have to restart Print Screen Deluxe if I want access to all settings.
FYI: I usually save my printscreens as JPEGs, then run them through MS Office Picture Manager or another graphics editor to crop or improve the quality of the image, especially if I am saving a photo. 108dpi seems to be the native resolution of PSD captures--which works for me. My choice for saving printscreens is in My Documents in a folder I call TempScreens.
Enjoy, LM
